Once again – I’m back in WOW.

It’s been a while since I updated this, most of the reson was that I stopped playing World of Warcraft for about 6 months. I was really into WOW before the expansion came out in November 2008 but then during the Holloween holiday activities I burnt myself out.
The expansion came out and I loaded the game but just couldn’t get myself interested in playing much. What’s funny is that this is basically the same thing that happened when The Burning Crusade expansion came out about 2 years ago. I logged in from time to time, mostly so I didn’t get kicked out of my guild for inactivity but didn’t do much.
About two weeks ago I started getting the urge again and then installed the game on my new computer and got hooked once again. I started out on my L70 mage who used to be called Trillion. She was moved to the Earthen Ring server and her name had to be changed, I called her Ogiue. It was the end of the Easter Holiday in the game so I just started doing some of those holiday quests but as it was the last day of the holiday I didn’t have time to do anything on my other characters. I at least did get the bunny ears I wanted for her:
Right after that holiday there was Children’s Week. I just went on and did those to get my two new vanity pets. In a previous year she got the pet ran and I have the pet turtle on another charcter so I got her the pet pig this year. I found out you could also do a chain of quests for orphans out in Shatrath as well so I did those and got my cute little pet Egbert:
I then headed out to Nagrand and started leveling. I started out in Borean Tundra and was having fun and managed to get to L71 finally. I really enjoyed some of the quests they had for the Murlocs. One of them had you freeing baby murlocs from cages and they followed you around, they were just so cute. Too bad you didn’t get a pet murloc for the quest reward:
After some good quest rewards, some shopping at the Auction House, and a trip to the barber in the game I have a cool new look. Way better then I looked before:
She looks “so much” better in this outfit and hair. At first I wasn’t going to change her since she’s been the other way for about 4 years now and it almost didn’t feel right changing her. Then I realized I changed her name from Trillion to Ogiue so she really wasn’t the same character anymore so just do what I think was the best.
I’ve also dropped Tailoring as a profession, I’d only been at about level 250 on that skill and it was a real money sink for me. I decided to juet collect for both professions and make cash. I’m still doing herbalism and I took up mining again as well. It took about 2 days but I’m not picking flowers and mining ore in Nagrand and making some good money. I use an alternate character as a “bank alt”. I just mail them all my auction house items so I can just keep playing my main character and then every day or two I log on to the bank alt and do some serious auction house work.
The only problem I have is that I piced a Dwarf as my bank alt and he sometimes gets a little distracted and forget about going to the mail box:
I guess it’s my own fault for making my bank alt a priest. LOL. His name is “Ginkoin” which is basically Japanese for Bank Teller.
